If you're hoping (maybe even praying?) that Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider FINALLY drafts a QB capable of perhaps one day taking over as the franchise signal-caller, this might be your year.

While this QB draft class has taken it's lumps from cynics and critics alike, there are a number of prospects littered throughout the group that have starter upside. One of those is Texas' Quinn Ewers. Once a top prospect and widely-viewed as a potential first rounder, the shine wore off Ewers after an injury-filled and inconsistent 2024 campaign.

But there are reasons to think Schneider has had his eye on Ewers for a long while, and could potentially choose him when the draft rolls around in late April... and today at the NFL scouting combine, news broke about Ewers that make the potential connection between the GM and the QB prospect even stronger.
