I was born in Detroit and have lived in Michigan my entire life. I grew up in a Republican family. I paid little attention to politics until Trump entered the scene. I couldn't believe what was going on in this country. The things discussed in this Pod Cast I have lived through. Since we have had Governor Whitmore in power I feel the people's opinions are heard. Things have been changing for the better and the damn roads are being repaired. Covid slowed the Governor's promises down but never stopped her. I am a graduate from Michigan State University. The mass shooting hear was heart breaking. The university, students and community have come together. All of the people were demanding changes to gun policies. Michigan's Goverment has heard and responded. So I truly believe I am lucky to live in Michigan.
