Board of Education member David Hensley and chair Robin Calcutt ran their election campaigns, in part, with the promise of re-energizing the Public Education Foundation of Moore County, and a newly-formed committee has set its sights on fulfilling that promise. Reporter Matt Lamb shares some of the history of the foundation, the efforts of that committee through its first two meetings and what its doing to set goals for the future and lay some groundwork for a fundraising strategy to increase its impact and effectiveness.
