Acerca de esta escucha
In this episode, host Paul Warner is joined by author and business executive, Nick Vizzoca. They discuss the need for leaders to have empathy and be adaptive to the needs of their employees, as well as how the pandemic has caused many individuals and families to reassess their priorities to place greater emphasis on health, well-being, and happiness.
Nick is a Pittsburgh native, first-generation son of Italian immigrants, and survivor of childhood cancer. A twenty-plus year veteran in healthcare in C-level positions, Nick is a sought-after speaker, serves on boards, and is a philanthropist for multiple causes. Never one to sugarcoat things, he is often consulted by other leaders on everything from employee engagement to crisis management in his never-ending personal mission to better the lives of others. In his free time, you will find him with his wife and three kids, who all enjoy cheering on the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.
You can find Nick’s book, “When Leadershi* Hits the Fan: How Global Concepts Can Influence Hard Choices and Inspire Greatness” on Amazon.
