The Pentecast: Day 47 - Lewis Parker

Welcome to Day 47 of the Pentecast on LOVECHURCH — The Podcast. Today, Tim is joined by Lewis Parker as they unpack one of the Bible’s shortest but punchiest books: Jude.

Though just 25 verses long, Jude delivers a powerful message. It opens with reassurance — “relax, everything’s going to be alright… love is on the way” — but quickly calls believers to hold fast to truth and guard against anything that distorts the grace of God.

In a culture full of competing voices, Jude’s words resonate strongly. Tim and Lewis reflect on how vital it is to “keep yourselves in God’s love” and “build yourselves up in your most holy faith.” It’s a call to root ourselves deeply in truth, to pray in the Holy Spirit, and to trust in the God who sustains us.

And then, the doxology — a glorious closing that lifts our gaze once more:

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling… to the only God our Saviour, be glory, majesty, power, and authority… now and forevermore. Amen.
