    Jan 17 2024

In this part of the podcast, Damon discusses the importance of diversifying income sources for rideshare drivers. They share their personal experiences and explain how relying solely on Uber and Lyft may no longer be profitable. The speaker encourages drivers to explore alternative options such as food delivery services like DoorDash and Walmart Spark. They emphasize that these apps should be seen as side hustles and not relied upon as a primary source of income. By being proactive and seeking out new opportunities, drivers can stay ahead of the curve and increase their earnings. The speaker also addresses the misconception that loyalty to one rideshare company will lead to better earnings, stating that the companies prioritize their own profitability over driver incomes. They urge listeners to adapt and find new ways to make money instead of complaining about the changing circumstances. The episode ends with the speaker reiterating the need for drivers to be open to trying different strategies and exploring emerging apps that may offer better payout rates and less competition.
