A presentation of The PAPER STREET Podcast, 'LATE TO THE PARTY' is a recurring program that brings filmmakers, friends, and entertainment industry pros on to discuss one of their major movie blind spots. The guest chats with hosts Shawn Talley and Cameron Burns before watching the film, then reconvenes with them after having seen it to all share their thoughts on the movie and much more!

This go-round, John Gholson — an actor, writer, cartoonist, comedian, and more, who you may have seen in films including ZERO CHARISMA, and Paper Street’s own BLOOD RELATIVES — was late to the party on TOMBSTONE, but we're glad he made it! The gents get into the popular western's endlessly recognizable cast, its historical accuracy, the conflicting behind-the-scenes drama of the production, and of course, the memorable performance by Val Kilmer, whose recent passing pushed this episode to the front of the line. If you've seen the 1993 film TOMBSTONE, check out this tangent-filled conversation. And if you haven't, you're late to the party, but that's okay; we'll still be here when you get to it!

The guest chats with hosts Shawn Talley and Cameron Burns before watching the film, then reconvenes with them after having seen it to all share their thoughts on the movie and much more!

This go-round, Steven Hugh Nelson — filmmaker, podcaster, and frequent collaborator and pal of Paper Street — was late to the party on FARGO, but we're glad he made it! The gang get into the weeds (or snow, as it were) about the characters, the setting, the accents, the performances, the cinematography, and more, as well as go off on tangents into everything from the TREMORS franchise to the infamous E.T. ripoff MAC AND ME. "Oh, you betcha." If you've seen the 1996 film FARGO, check out this fun conversation. And if you haven't, you're late to the party, but that's okay; we'll still be here when you get to it!

This go-round, Kimberley Elizabeth — critic, author, and one-half of the popular horror outlet and podcast 'Nightmare On Film Street' — was late to the party on INDEPENDENCE DAY, but we're glad she made it! The hosts and Kimmi discuss the film's huge ensemble of recognizable faces, its many quotable one-liners, how it feels almost antiquated given the current state of U.S. and world affairs, Roland Emmerich's penchant for "disaster porn" that continues to this day, and more! If you've seen the 1996 film INDEPENDENCE DAY, check out this lively conversation. And if you haven't, you're late to the party, but that's okay; we'll still be here when you get to it!
