I am very grateful for this gift. I have never
read the entire Bible and this podcast has inspired
me to create and maintain a routine that Glorifies God. I am grateful to the reader for his diligence. I often times find myself praying for him and his well being as I am following along in my Bible.

My phone was turned up all the way and I could barely hear him. It sounded as though it was the first time he read the Bible: no practice. He stumbled over some words/phrases. I heard very little inflection.

As a dyslexic ADHD person I have never been able to get through reading the whole Bible. As a Christian Orthodox Catechumen, I felt overwhelmed with there being even more books in the Orthodox Bible. It was so nice to hear it simply read by a lay person and not interpreted. Thank you! I enjoyed the experience very much!

Loved it!

By reading a few minutes each day, the rich mountain of Christian scriptures can be read/heard/experienced. This edition is translated from the Septuagint for the old testament portion, which is the version of the old covenant scriptures that was most commonly quoted by new testament writers and which has been in continuous use in the Greek-speaking and other Eastern Orthodox Churches since their inception, and were those used by the Jews at the time of the Messiah's incarnation, who became the first Christians. It has recently been made available for English-speaking readers in this Orthodox Christian edition. The books and numbering vary a bit from Western bibles. I recommend a book called When God Spoke Greek that gives a very insightful contemporary introduction to the Septuagint's place in Hebrew and Christian history, tradition, scholarship, and research.

A valuable resource!
