In the early morning of June 27, 1995, Jodi Huisentruit was awoken by a phone call. The Mason City, Iowa news anchor had overslept and was due at the news station to get ready for air. Unfortunately, Jodi would never make it in. The only evidence that Jodi had attempted to make it to work was haphazardly strewn around her car in her apartment parking lot.
