The One True God

The God of the Bible is the only true God and he should be worshipped as he sees fit. The only reason we know anything about this God is because he has chosen to reveal himself to us. We would know nothing of this God if he had not given us his word, the Bible. So we ought to be thankful that he has spoken to us. But how does any of that play into the second commandment?
