The first is mine a quick moment at a company Christmas party.

An open bar. A free drink. And a feeling I couldn’t shake.

The second story was submitted anonymously and is told here in my voice.

It’s about a woman who always pushed the storyteller to drink and an instinct that said not to.

Years later, her name came up in connection with something much darker.

And that one drink -the one they never took - still stands out.
