We are back with another edition of The Nielson Show right here on Edmonton Sports Talk… and today, for the first time in EST history, Hernan Salas will be joining Lt. Eric on the morning show.

The boys started today’s show with some laughs, a few stories. Essentially just catching up. It wasn’t long before the marathon discussion continued. Hernan gave Lt an update on this week’s marathon, how he’s trained and what he’s most worried about.

After the first YTT sports update, let the Elks talk begin. The fellas gave their quick thoughts heading into tonight’s game.

It was then time to Crack Some Packs powered by Wayne’s Sports Cards & Collectables. In honour of Thomas Muller joining the Vancouver Whitecaps, we cracked some soccer cards. The soccer talk capped off hour one.
