Hello my beautiful friends,
In today’s episode, we’re talking about grief and nervous system regulation in honor or my sweet boy Achilles who crossed the rainbow bridge late last week. I have been in mourning and today I wanted to talk about honoring those emotions and experiencing them in a nervous system safe way. This really want an off the cuff episode and stays rather basic but I wanted to record it for myself and for anyone else who may be experiencing loss or grief. The picture I used as the cover photo for this episode is a portrait of Achilles that my 6-year old nephew, Greyson, drew of Achilles a day after he passed. He took the loss of Achilles particularly hard & it felt like such an honor that he drew such a sweet picture of him. For anyone experiencing loss, whether by means of death or some other form, you're not alone and I love you. & for Achilles, I love you so much my sweet killer and the only thing that makes losing you easier is knowing that everyone else I have lost is on the other side with you now. Rest peacefully my special boy and I will see you again when my time comes.
