  • Akashic Reiki Is Born – A Mystic in Training Story
    Jan 9 2026

    Send us a text

    This episode is different.

In it, I share – for the first time – what it’s actually been like to create a new healing modality. Not from strategy. Not from certainty. But from inquiry, listening, and saying yes long before I understood what I was saying yes to.

For the past year and beyond, I’ve been following a quiet inner instruction – asking deeper questions about healing, evolution, and why so many of us feel like we’re endlessly working on ourselves rather than truly becoming free.

In this episode, I speak human to human about:

    • Why healing as “fixing” no longer works
    • What it means to live the Akashic way
    • The responsibility of carrying something that wants to be born
    • And the moment this work finally received its name

This is the story of how Akashic Reiki™ came into the world – not as a technique, but as a way of being.

If you’ve ever felt something forming within you that you couldn’t rush, force, or explain… this episode is for you.

  • Living the Akashic Way – A New Approach to Your Word of the Year
    Jan 2 2026

    Send us a text

What if your Word of the Year isn’t something you’re asking the universe to give you – but a lens through which you evolve?

In this timely New Year episode of Mystic in Training, Melissa Amos invites you to rethink how you choose – and live with – your Word of the Year.

Rather than using it as a manifestation shortcut or resolution replacement, Melissa explores the idea of the Word as an evolutionary path – one that reveals what you are here to cultivate, embody, and practise through real life.

Drawing on the Akashic Records, lived experience, and psycho-spiritual insight, this episode explores:

    • Why your Word of the Year often comes from contrast
    • How challenges don’t mean you’re failing – they mean you’re practising
    • Why healing is no longer about fixing, but about conscious participation
    • How living “the Akashic way” changes your relationship with choice, growth, and responsibility
    • Why nothing is wasted – and everything is information

This episode gently reframes old triggers, holiday hangovers, and early-January wobbles as invitations, not regressions.

✨ If you’ve ever wondered why your intentions didn’t “work” – this conversation will change how you see healing, growth, and the year ahead.

  • Feeling Triggered Around Family? You’re Not Regressing - You’re Evolving
    Dec 26 2025

    Send us a text

The holidays can be beautiful - and still feel weirdly dysregulating. In this short episode, I’m offering a reframe for that “why do I feel worse when I’ve done so much work?” moment.

If you’re around family, old friends, or familiar dynamics, your system can slip back into old relational roles - not because you’ve failed, but because your awareness has grown faster than your nervous system’s sense of safety. This isn’t regression. It’s integration. It’s the body catching up to who you’ve become.

You’ll also be guided through a simple in-the-moment practice (hand on the body + breath + sigh) to soften the activation and return to presence, without shaming yourself or forcing “love and light” over what’s real.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why the holidays amplify old patterns (sensory load + routine changes + family dynamics)
    • The “old relational field” - how other people can unconsciously pull you into who you used to be
    • Why it can feel worse now that you’ve evolved (because your tolerance for misalignment is lower)
    • Healing vs evolution - and why both can be happening at once
    • A simple nervous system reset you can use mid-trigger
    • Self-leadership without spiritual perfectionism

    Try this (60 seconds):
Hand on heart or belly - breathe in - sigh out - “I am safe. I am here.”
Then: “Hey, I see you. Haven’t we grown so far?”
