    Episode Description:

The Mountain Top Experience Podcast - Ep. 39. - Ep. 39. - We Have It Better Than the Miserable People with Richard Bolen

On this episode of The Mountain Top Experience Podcast, hosts Carlos and Dave sit down with attorney and author Richard Bolen for a thoughtful and deeply encouraging conversation about faith, perseverance, and biblical clarity.

Richard is the author of Christianity Is Easy: Compared to the Alternative, a compelling guide to thinking differently about the Christian life. In this episode, Richard shares his personal story of coming to faith in Jesus at just seven years old while attending Bible camp and how, over the next fifty-two years, he never turned back. Rather than a faith built on emotion or circumstance, Richard explains how a biblically grounded approach to Christianity has made perseverance possible even when life is difficult.

Carlos and Dave explore with Richard what it means to live out a faith that is anchored in Scripture rather than cultural expectations, why the Christian life is often misunderstood as harder than it truly is, and how clarity about truth brings freedom, endurance, and peace. Richard's legal background adds a unique perspective, helping listeners see how clear thinking and biblical reasoning strengthen faith for the long haul.

This episode is an encouragement for believers at every stage, especially those who feel worn down by circumstances or discouraged by the noise surrounding modern Christianity. Richard reminds us that while life itself can be hard, following Christ offers a better, steadier alternative.

The Mountain Top Experience Podcast - Ep. 37 - The Sistine Chapel Is Already Painted with Prophetic Artist Carrie Kingsbury

What if God is still speaking through art in ways that draw hearts, spark curiosity, and open doors for the gospel?

In this episode of The Mountain Top Experience Podcast, hosts Kevin, Carlos, and Dave sit down with prophetic artist Carrie Kingsburg of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, to explore the powerful role of art in worship, evangelism, and spiritual awakening. Carrie is a full-time artist and the founder of Promise Land Murals, a ministry and business dedicated to creating artwork that points people toward truth, beauty, and hope.

Using the provocative idea that "the Sistine Chapel is already painted," this conversation looks at how God continues to use artists today to communicate timeless truths in fresh ways. Carrie shares her journey as a prophetic artist, how God uses visual art to reach people who may never step into a church, and why creativity remains a vital tool for ministry in every generation.

You will hear about the intersection of faith and creativity, the calling of artists within the Body of Christ, and how art can become both an act of worship and a bold witness. Carrie also discusses her murals, her prophetic art projects, and the online platforms she uses to share what God places on her heart.

Learn more about Carrie and her work at https://www.promiselandart.com/ and find her prophetic art on Facebook through her various ministry pages.

The Mountain Top Experience Podcast - Ep. 35 - Taking It to the Streets

    Description

In this special field episode, The Mountain Top Experience Podcast steps out of the studio and into Reading City Park for A City Comes Together, a community worship and prayer gathering that united churches from across Berks County. Instead of microphones and monitors, the podcast hosts set up a simple table under open sky and let the stories of the day come to them.

Throughout the afternoon, people stopped by the table to share what God was doing in their lives. Some came from deep places of struggle. Others came overflowing with praise. Every testimony was unscripted. Every voice was authentic. And every moment pointed to one truth: when believers gather in unity, God moves.

Carlos, Kevin, and Dave capture the raw sounds of worship rising from the park, the prayers offered at the intercession tent, and the heartfelt stories shared by those who felt compelled to speak. The result is an episode that feels alive. You can hear the crowd. You can feel the Spirit. You can sense hope settling over the city.

This episode is not polished. It is powerful.
It is not planned. It is personal.
It is the church coming together, one testimony at a time.

Pull up a chair. Experience the day. And hear how God met Reading when His people gathered in white, lifted their voices, and stood as one.

The Mountain Top Experience Podcast - Ep. 34. -From Boi to Man - The Geralf Martin Story

    Description:

Carlos, Kevin, and Dave welcome Gerald Martin for a powerful and deeply personal conversation. Gerald grew up in church with a sincere love for God, yet as he entered adulthood he walked away from his faith and embraced a lifestyle that left him searching for peace. His journey led him to San Francisco at the height of the AIDS epidemic, where heartbreak and loss became part of everyday life. Sixty of his friends died before they reached the age of thirty. Gerald eventually left the city, escaping with his life when so many around him did not.

When he returned home to Reading, Pennsylvania, God began to draw him back to his first love. Gerald describes how the Lord restored him, healed him, and placed a burden on his heart to reach others with the hope he had rediscovered. He began sharing the gospel on the streets of his hometown, speaking from a place of compassion and personal experience.

In this episode Gerald talks with the hosts about how to reach the gay community with the love of Jesus. He speaks honestly about what he needed to hear in his darkest moments and what opened his heart to grace. He also shares how believers can hold to truth while extending kindness and genuine friendship.
