Today’s episode of The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett and Best Friends is packed with laughs, music, and a special Country Climb interview.

We kick off the morning with a call from Virgil the Cowboy in Eager, who celebrates Employee Appreciation Day by giving the cowboys and cowgirls the day off. He also tells us about his very first job.

Then we check in with our best friend Jineane Ford from Majik 101.7 and iTalk 106.7 for Fun Fact Friday, where we learn some surprising (and slightly controversial) facts about Oreos—which Chris loves and Jineane absolutely hates. Jineane also drops some nerd news that gets everyone laughing.

Next it’s time for our Country Climb Star of the Week, brought to us by our friends at Austin Burke’s Playlisted Podcast. This week’s rising artist is Noah James, who joins us on the eve of his wedding to talk about his journey in country music, his climb as an artist, and the story behind his song “Heart To Stay.”

We wrap up the show with a call from Paul in Beaumont, who tells us about the worst job he ever had, and we play Are You Smarter Than a Redneck? with some Alamo Day trivia.

Today’s episode kicks off with a ticket giveaway for Chris Bennett Comedy & Alibertos Presents Stand Up Comedy at the Show Low Elks Lodge on March 14th. Caller John from Show Low becomes our official Relationship Advice Expert for the day and helps judge one of the strangest relationship dilemmas yet…

A woman says her boyfriend farts constantly—during hugs, conversations, and even as a running joke—and she’s completely over it. Is it harmless humor or a serious relationship problem? We break it down and deliver our verdict.

Later we hear from Paul in Beaumont, who shares his college experience and admits he only lasted through rush week because he preferred partying over studying. With spring break around the corner, we swap some wild vacation stories.

We also play Are You Smarter Than a Redneck – Reel Film Day, putting callers to the test with movie trivia.

Then the show wraps up with a bonus relationship advice case about a woman who says she’s less attracted to her boyfriend after he got super muscular at the gym. Caller JC from Snowflake helps us judge the case and wins tickets to the Arizona Renaissance Festival.

The morning starts with a small-world moment when Paul from Beaumont, Texas calls with an update—and tells us he spotted a car with a Show Low, Arizona license plate frame all the way in Texas. Proof the world is smaller than we think.

Then it’s Am I The Jerk Court Wednesday, and today’s case might be one of the most divisive yet: a husband who puts mayo on absolutely everything brings his wife lunch at work… completely covered in mayonnaise. He thought he was surprising her with a special sauce. She says after 10 years together he should know better. The courtroom weighs in and the verdict is delivered.

Lou joins as today’s courtroom assistant judge and wins two tickets to our upcoming comedy show at the Show Low Elks Lodge on March 14th, presented by Chris Bennett Comedy and Alibertos.

Later we check in with Jan from Heber (aka Jan the Weather Man) who gives us a local weather update and tells us about the surprising thing he can watch for hours—his kittens playing with their toys.

Then Debbie from Springerville calls in on her birthday, gets an on-air Happy Birthday serenade, and requests a song from former Country Climb Star of the Week Cole Bradford – “Girl Dad.”

It’s a morning full of small-town moments, laughs, and one very questionable condiment choice.
