This is part two of a multi-part series on the Marquis de Lafayette, famed hero of both the American and French revolutions. In this episode, I go over a brief summary of the events that followed Lafayette's arrival in America. I also include the key takeaways from his early military career, highlighting the events of the Battle of Brandywine which first signaled the major role he would come to play in the American revolution.
