After spending weeks unpacking the heavy legacy of slavery and its lingering impact on the mental and emotional well-being of African Americans, The Majestic Talks Show is shifting into a space of joy, release, and restoration. This episode celebrates the power of laughter—our ability as a people to smile, joke, and rejoice even when storms have tried to silence us.

Joining us for this special episode is the hilarious Sister Smoke, a gifted comedian who uses humor to bring healing, perspective, and pure joy. Throughout the show, she’ll step in with jokes, relatable moments, and comedic insights that remind us that laughter is medicine for the soul.

We’ll explore how Black joy has always been a form of resilience—how our ancestors carved out moments of laughter in the face of unimaginable hardship, and how we continue that legacy today.
