In the 291st episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave is just Dave this time around as Jenn is out - so Dave carries the show... on a big Disney news week!

First, getting the ticket for The Mandalorian & Grogu, and why I'm looking forward to some simple Star Wars.

Then, diving into Walt Disney World 2027, as new prices and packages were released this week. We run through new additions - a dining plan returning, discounts on dining for kids, water park information - plus booking through October 2027. Plus, why should you consider booking this far out? I give you the reasons!

Finally, The Muppets are all over the Disney socials! The song list has been released for Rock'n Roller Coaster with the Muppets - I'll run through it and help those of you confused to remember what a "Song 2" is. Also, the cameos in the queue, the storyline behind G-Force Records now, the L.I.M.O. idea, and my excited for the ride retheme and what it might mean for Muppet Fans (and how this is a home run for Disney... unless they Zootopia it...)

Find it on all the podplaces!!

  • The One with Aulani & the Dominican
    Apr 9 2026

In the 290th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are finally joined again by fan fave #KylaKylaKyla, for the first time since last September!

In the news, Buzz Lightyear has reopened, and we all chat about it even though none of us have done the new version... Big Thunder has to have an opening date soon, right? [spoiler alert, they announced it right as we were done recording - its May 3]

Plus, the Rock'n Roller Coaster Guitar is getting an new rethemed paint job... and Annual Passholder discounts this year, with 2026's VIPassholder dining discounts.

Then, Kyla Melberg is here to talk a little travel and her busy, busy winter so far this year. She gives her Aulani report first - the dining, the travel there and back, the hotel itself, things she didn't know going in, and so on. Then her look around the island, in the other hotel they moved to, and finally a recent trip to the Dominican, with a stay at Hard Rock.

Jenn chimes in with her takes as well, while Dave offers an idea for the monkey cages in Animal Kingdom (because that's all he's got for this topic!)

  • The One with Jenn in Land & Dave in World
    Apr 3 2026

In the 289th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave are back after a few weeks away! Spring Break weeks have come and gone, including when Jenn went to Disneyland then returned home to Pittsburgh late Monday night, only for Dave to leave Birmingham early Tuesday morning for week in Disney World!

First up, Buzz Lightyear has some soft openings, ready for next week's official reopening... Rafiki gets his name dropped in Animal Kingdom's Conversation Conservation Station... brand new ticket deals for Disney... and Crocs are getting into the headband game...

Then, Jenn and Dave share their trip reports from the parks on each coast -- Jenn (with Travel Amanda) visiting Bluey's new show, hanging at Disneyland Hotel, enjoying California Adventure's Food & Wine, and soaking in the 70th anniversary before it disappears...

And Dave on his annual family trip, with all the dining, including Le Cellier and Sci Fi and Akershus, doing the Garden Graze at Flower & Garden Festival, and the kid's Meeting Princess stance. And lamenting on Disney's poor Egg Display system this year.

It's a great time to visit either park!
