The Lord Our Peace

Spirituality— our pursuit of God— is the pursuit of peace. To truly know God, who is the Prince of Peace, is to experience genuine peace. Yet, as believers who profess to know God, do we really know Him as our peace? Do we truly understand what it means for the Lord to be our peace? How can we genuinely know Him so that His peace becomes our daily lived experience?

In this message titled “The Lord Our Peace”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter reveals how and why God (Jehovah Shalom) is our peace. He establishes that true (lasting) peace can only be found in knowing the Lord, offering valuable insight into how we can genuinely come to know Him as our peace. Emphasising the need for regeneration (the transformation of our evil hearts), he urges us to seek a deeper experience of truly knowing God so that we can fully experience His peace in this life.

Beloved, you are anxious about life because you do not really know the Lord. If you choose to walk the path of transformation and seek Him sincerely, you will surely find lasting peace, even in the midst of life’s fiercest storms. For the Lord is your peace!
