This is her debut novel but she has several other manuscripts in the works, including a graphic novel in collaboration with her daughter, Rebecca. She’s also a mother and an educator. We have a great conversation about her reading and writing life and swap some wonderful recommendations for both children and adult books.

We talk about his writing process, the joys and struggles of parenthood, what he enjoys reading, and what he's writing next!
