  • Iran: Countering Media Narratives LBP E38
    Mar 28 2026

In Episode 38 of The Liberty Brief, Rob and Dr. Tom cut through the noise on what is arguably the most significant geopolitical event in a generation. From the emergence of the Immortal Guard — an armed insurgency born from within Iran's own security forces — to Basij soldiers abandoning checkpoints and melting into the civilian population, the Iranian theocracy is showing every sign of terminal collapse.
But this isn't just a military story. Rob and Dr. Tom tackle the hard political questions head-on: Is America a puppet of Israel? Is Trump starting a new war? And what does the rogue IRGC missile strike on Qatar's Ras Laffan gas complex mean for global energy markets and Gulf stability?
The answers will challenge what you think you know.

  • The Philosophy Behind Modern Tyranny: E37
    Feb 4 2026

What if the biggest battles in history — slavery, colonialism, surveillance, censorship, and even modern social media — all share the same underlying pattern?
In this episode of The Liberty Brief, Dr. Thomas Giordano reveals the framework he developed while writing The Unbroken Stream and expanded in his new book The Sovereign Self.
At the center of his work is the Personhood Index, a diagnostic tool that measures how any system — past or present — either supports or erodes natural personhood across five domains: Autonomy, Dignity, Agency, Privacy, and Continuity.
    We explore:
    • How legal systems redefine personhood when convenient
    • Why the unborn, enslaved people, women, and indigenous children were all categorized away from natural personhood
    • How modern platforms like TikTok erode autonomy algorithmically
    • The Enlightenment split between individual sovereignty and collective authority
    • Locke, Kant, Jefferson vs. Hobbes, Rousseau, Hegel, and Marx
    • Why the Founders feared centralized power — and whether they were right
This conversation connects history, philosophy, and modern technology into one powerful question:
Do you still own yourself — or have you been reduced to something managed?
If you value deep conversations about liberty, natural rights, and the future of human dignity, subscribe and share this episode.

  • What You Need to Teach Your Kids About Inflation (2025)
    Nov 18 2025

One of the major problems with educating people on the idea of inflation is that many don’t even know what money is, or at least have a clear understanding of what money is. Sure, it is dollar bills and pennies and nickels, dimes, quarters, and all that, but I’m talking about what it actually is; what it actually represents. So, when my father sat me down at a picnic table under the maple tree in our back yard to give me my first lesson in economics, he went through a series of definitions and stories to illustrate his point. If you are a parent, and you are concerned for your children’s understanding of things in the real world, you may want to take heed of what we’re about to explain. You can then present it in a way your kids can understand.
