Welcome to The Leader’s Cut, hosted by Preston Morrison (Senior Pastor of Pillar Church in Scottsdale, Arizona).

Here, we believe you are at your best when you allow God to cut away what’s getting in His way, so He can move through you in powerful, new ways.

”The Leader” refers to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, who guides every believer. ”The Cut” is about allowing the Holy Spirit to precisely remove the ”flesh” – those things in our lives that hinder His movement. Just as the Old Testament marked God’s people with physical circumcision, the New Testament calls for a circumcision of the heart.

Join us weekly for new episodes, where we pray the Spirit of God speaks directly to you about that week’s topic. From past experiences to practical tips to cheat codes in life, lean into the ‘cuts’ each week for Biblical principles and practical takeaways that you can apply to become the person God created you to be.

  • The Place Where Real Battles Are Won (with Brenda Palmer)
    Jun 11 2026

We tend to think the “stage” is where we do the most damage to the enemy. But the truth is, the hidden 'cave' is where the real wars are actually won.

In this episode of The Leader’s Cut, Preston Morrison sits down with Brenda Palmer for a raw, unfiltered conversation about what happens when you willingly submit to the hidden seasons with God.

Together, they dive deep into the mystery of "the cave"—the quiet, intentional space of intimate fellowship with the King where our rough edges are ground off and our flesh is put to death. In a culture obsessed with self-promotion and digital noise, Brenda and Preston don't hold back on where the modern church is dropping the ball. From social media distractions to a devastating lack of deep prayer, they address a holy disruption happening in the earth: a new generation is arising, and they want the true, express glory of God.

    In this conversation, they explore:

    • The Anatomy of the Cave: Why the hidden place is a non-negotiable requirement for killing your flesh, and how the cave acts as the ultimate litmus test for evaluating people in your life.
    • Fumbling the Bag: A candid look at how modern media trains leaders to talk about themselves rather than pointing people to the Lamb.
    • The Power of The Whisper: Why the quietest, closest prayers are often the most lethal spiritual weapons you can wield.
    • Reclaiming the House of Prayer: Why the Church's inability to satisfy a hungry generation stems from being completely "un-prayed up", and how to realign your daily rhythm around radical, constant dependence on God.

This is a direct confrontation to our modern ideas of ministry and influence. It’s a call to return to the secret place where real power is forged. It’s time to settle into the cave.

  • Say So! : Why Your Story Is A MAJOR Threat To the Enemy (with Tim Ross)
    Jun 4 2026

Most people treat their past like a liability—something to be hidden away or ‘cleaned up’ before it can ever be useful. But what if parts of your story are actually the keys to someone else’s breakthrough?

In this episode of The Leader’s Cut, Preston Morrison is joined by his "twin," Tim Ross, for a raw conversation about the untapped power of the testimony. We’re moving past the religious idea of "sharing a story" and getting into the gritty reality of why truth-telling is a literal weapon in the hands of a believer.

Tim and Preston explore the idea that the enemy’s primary goal isn't just to make you mess up—it’s to keep you quiet about how you got back up. They discuss why the world doesn't need another polished movement or a clever hashtag, but a genuine move of people who are brave enough to let the redeemed of the Lord "say so!"

For anyone who has felt like their history is a disqualification, this conversation is a reminder that your mess is often the exact bridge someone else needs to cross over into their own healing.

    In this conversation, we’ll explore:

    • The Silence Trap: Why the enemy desperately wants you to keep your story a secret and how that silence fuels the cycle of shame.
    • The Spirit of Prophecy: Understanding the biblical weight of your testimony and why your history is actually a roadmap for someone else’s future.
    • Beyond the Hashtag: Why genuine transformation doesn't require a PR campaign, but a simple, honest declaration of what God has done.
    • Vulnerability as Power: Why the most influential thing you can do is stop pretending you have it all together and start telling the truth.
    • The Testimony Tsunami: How one person’s decision to be honest can trigger a chain reaction of freedom for everyone around them.

This is an invitation to stop hiding and start weaponizing your history. Say so!

  • Learning To Live Like Jesus (with Matt Chandler)
    May 28 2026

In this episode of The Leader’s Cut, Preston Morrison sits down with Matt Chandler for a raw, honest conversation about the journey to a life of holiness. The unpack the lies that keeps most people from ever experiencing true freedom, and move past the superficial to explore what it actually looks like to be refined by the Spirit of God in the places no one else sees.

Matt pulls back the curtain on the subtle but dangerous shift that happens when we stop following Jesus as Lord and start treating Him like an messenger for our own comfort. If the goal of life has become an endless cycle of upgrades and ease, this conversation serves as a necessary reset. It’s a deep dive into the reality that real change isn’t found in a crowded room on Sunday, but in the quiet, mundane moments of a random weekday afternoon.

    In this conversation, we explore:

    * The "Tuesday" Concept: The reason spiritual growth is actually found in the monotonous, ordinary parts of life rather than the mountaintops.

    * The Strength of Vulnerability: Why the most influential people are often the ones willing to be the most honest about their own need for change.

    * Conviction vs. Shame: How to tell the difference between the voice that wants to hide you and the voice that wants to heal you.

    * No Dark Corners: What it looks like to finally invite God into the spaces we usually try to keep off-limits. This episode isn't just a conversation; it’s an invitation to stop performing and start yielding.

For anyone who feels like they’ve been running on a spiritual treadmill, this discussion offers a path toward a peace that actually lasts—even when life gets uncomfortable.
