Spencer and Dave are going back to Michael Mann's 1992 take on the classic book and 1936 film adaptation, The Last of the Mohicans. A historical fiction story from 1757 during the French and Indian War where Daniel Day-Lewis and his adoptive Native American family get wrapped up with the British and French problems and of course they have to save the day from other tribes" brutal assault only to not be thanked that well.
The film is action packed, with amazing production sets, and a realistic feel of what it would have been like in America back then. This is for both of us a movie that somehow, someway has eluded us all these years and we finally have sat down and watched it. From the era of just pure grand scale, larger than life movies, that sadly just isn't there these days.
Join us as we break it all down in this spoiler-filled discussion! Then get sidetracked as usual with other movies, games, comics, and life stories. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more deep dives into fascinating films.
