Governor under Governor Evers, and how her experience working with the governor is informing her campaign for governor. We also talked about her plan to address affordability in Wisconsin, as well as her vision for expanding healthcare access and long-term funding for the Universities of Wisconsin system. She also shares her approach to reaching voters during the August primary and potentially navigating a divided legislature.

    On this episode of The La Follette Line, we were joined by U.S. Representative Mark Pocan, who has represented Wisconsin’s second district since 2013. We discussed the resolution of the nation’s longest government shutdown, the latest developments on the Epstein files in Congress, and shifting dynamics in the Republican and Democratic parties. We also talked about Rep. Pocan’s package of bills pushing for reform in Medicare and Medicare Advantage, as well as his vision for defense-spending reform. He also shared his thoughts on Wisconsin’s elections in 2026, including the upcoming gubernatorial race, and provided a message to UW-Madison students on his work in Congress.
