From the storm-tossed shores of Rut’theran to the drowned ruins of Feathermoon Stronghold, Episode 40 of Tides of Lore tells the tragic and defiant story of the Kaldorei in the wake of the Cataclysm.

We begin with Tyrande Whisperwind, High Priestess of Elune, who tends to the first drowned victims on Kalimdor’s coast. Their loss recalls centuries of grief, but also reveals the new fragility of a people who sacrificed immortality at Nordrassil. In Darnassus, Malfurion Stormrage hears grim reports of devastation, the fall of Darkshore, naga assaults on Feathermoon, and the silence of their coastal settlements. The kaldorei homeland is breaking, and the druids know the entire world trembles with it.

On Sardor Isle, Shandris Feathermoon leads her Sentinels against impossible odds. Waves and storms batter her forces as naga swarm the stronghold, their sorceress leader, Lady Szenastra, pressing the assault. Surrounded, Shandris calls on Elune in her darkest moment, and the goddess answers, striking down her foes in a blaze of moonlight. Yet victory comes at a cost, leaving her broken and near death. Only Tyrande’s desperate prayer and Malfurion’s power bring her back.
