Tune in to hear for yourself with all that’s happening as the latest podcast is here. On deck: (4:03) It was a very good Masters tournament punctuated by Rory McIlroy’s steady play (or did the competition wilt under pressure) as he becomes the fourth player to repeat at Augusta. I’ll unpack the entire weekend and how yesterday turned out to be rather anticlimactic as several players faded down the stretch. (25:12) The NBA postseason, well, play in tournament is forthcoming! I’ll delve into a few storylines of what to look out for the next couple of days, how we got here and what lies ahead as the actual playoffs begin on Saturday.

 (44:16) As for the NHL, there are still a couple of races to keep an eye out for as teams are fighting for a spot into the Stanley Cup Playoffs. I’ll put an epitaph on the 2025-26 New York Islanders as they officially have been eliminated from postseason play. (1:00:25) Baseball has been buzzing over its excellent start. There have been a few teams that have come back to the pack and then some, in particular the Yankees, Mets and Astros as they’ve been scuffling of late. Which means I’ve got plenty to unpack with what’s happening in the world of sports as the latest podcast has arrived. On deck: (3:42) The tradition unlike any other tees off the 2026 golf season, down in Augusta, GA as The Masters is underway. I’ll get into some storylines, which players to watch for and who’ll bring home the green jacket as this years’ champion. (20:12) Speaking of which, Michigan stands alone on the NCAA basketball’s mountaintop, beating the UConn Huskies on Monday night. I’ll recap their hard fought win, their chances of a repeat for next year and did Danny Hurley’s legacy take a hit? (26:05) We’re down to the final weekend of the NBA season as the play-in tournament looms. I’ll see where we’re at when it comes to seeding, potential first round playoff matchups as we get set for a two month journey to crown a champ. (39:56) The NHL will wrap up its season a week from today. Where are we with both conferences looking to punch their ticket to the Stanley Cup Playoffs? Especially my beloved New York Islanders? (57:14) Baseball continues to ride a hot start with the Dodgers winning another series vs. their World Series opponent from last year, a wild brawl in Anaheim and break up the Rockies as they swept the Astros to get to .500 two weeks into the season. On deck: (4:58) It was a rather ho-hum Saturday night in Indianapolis as Michigan destroyed Arizona and UConn advances to another championship game defeating Illinois. Are the Huskies destined to win their third title in four years to put them in a stratosphere that we haven’t seen in college basketball? Or will Michigan end the Big 10 drought of winning the conferences’ first championship since 2000? Also, UCLA put it on South Carolina in the women’s final, but not before fireworks between Gamecocks coach Dawn Staley & UConn head coach Geno Auriemma after SC’s dominant win in the semifinal. Was Geno out of line? (31:44) We’re down to the final week of the NBA season. Will the Lakers be close to ready come playoff time as both Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are nursing serious injuries?

 47:07) The NHL season will conclude in ten days. The Islanders are floundering as they fire their head coach with four games left. A panic move? Or the right move? I’ll look to see how these races are shaping up with roughly five to six games left. (1:00:01) MLB is off to a fast start thanks to some intriguing storylines after the first ten games of the season. (1:11:05) An extension to a former #1 overall pick and a retirement for a former Defensive Player of the Year highlight what’s happening in the NFL. And MUCH MORE in between.
