  • Episode 139: From Nonna with Love: Stories of Tradition and Triumph featuring Nella Fitzgerald
    Apr 6 2026

This week we are talking about ‘From Nonna with Love: Stories of Tradition and Triumph’, the fabulous exhibition currently showing at the Fremantle Maritime Museum. This exhibition celebrates the stories of Italian migrant women. I have personally been twice and it is absolutely incredible. We were honoured to be joined by our guest Nella, the curator and woman whose dreams and dedication has made it all possible. We were so interested to hear Nella’s own family history and of her experiences in creating From Nonna with Love. The exhibition closes 20th of April so there is still plenty of time to get there. They also have many special exhibition events such as ‘Cook like a Nonna’ and Cultural Talks.
