  • Oklahoma State House Representative Melissa Provenzano, Ep. 202
    Nov 8 2025

This week, we are kicking off a series of interviews highlighting some of our Oklahoma State Legislators and the work, advocacy, policy collaboration, and/or learning they are doing for Oklahomans with disabilities.

First up, we welcome Representative Melissa Provenzano!

Rep. Provenzano represents Oklahoma State House District 79. She is a fierce advocate for education, women’s preventative health, healthcare, mental health, and of course for disability inclusion and rights.

Her name may ring a bell- and that’s because we heard it quite a bit when she helped pass a very important bill, HB 1389, for Women’s health expanding insurance coverage for supplemental screenings for breast cancer- which just became law at the beginning of this month! She has also supported and gotten passed many more bills that help different areas of advocacy for Oklahomans. She tirelessly continues her amazing work to ensure all Oklahomans are cared for and get the services and help they need.

You don’t want to miss this series!
