The Harsh Reality Of Foaling Season... It's Been A Sad Week

The last couple of weeks on the farm have been an emotional roller coaster, but that’s real life during foaling season. 🐴💕

In this episode of Katching Up With Katie, I’m catching y’all up on everything that’s been happening lately — the good, the hard, and the really unexpected moments that come with farm life.

We talk about our newest little addition to the crew (meet Frankie 🐶), barn updates, and several new mares that have joined the program. But we also open up about some of the tougher moments from the past week, including a difficult foaling loss, a goat miscarriage, and Maggie’s colic surgery while she’s still pregnant. Farm life can bring so much joy, but it also comes with real challenges, and I wanted to share that side of it with y’all too.

Through all of it, we’re still moving forward with the horses, the foals we’re expecting, and the exciting training work happening at the barn with Stephanie. There’s always something happening around here, and I’m grateful y’all are along for the ride with us.
