  • The Relationship Advantage: The Power of Real Connections in Business and Life with International Keynote Speaker, CEO, Author, and Relationship Strategist, Barb Betts
    Mar 31 2026
You ever have one of those moments where you’re surrounded by people, notifications blowing up your phone, group chats buzzing, social media lighting up… and yet somehow you still feel disconnected? Yeah, same. That’s exactly why this conversation hits different. In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I sit down with Barb Betts, international keynote speaker, CEO, and author of The Relationship Advantage, to unpack what it really means to build authentic, meaningful relationships in a world that’s more connected than ever, yet somehow feels more disconnected too. Barb has spent over 23 years building businesses and leading high performing teams, including running a seven figure business for more than a decade with zero ad spend and no cold outreach. Let that sink in. Her entire success has been built on real human connection. Not hacks. Not shortcuts. Just genuine relationships rooted in trust. But what makes this episode powerful is not just her business success. It’s her story. Barb opens up about growing up feeling lonely and disconnected, being bullied as a kid, and learning early on how to wear masks just to fit in. Later in life, she faced severe hair loss and made the bold decision to stop hiding and fully embrace her truth. That moment became a turning point. Not just in her confidence, but in how she shows up for others. And that’s really what this episode is about. Learning how to show up as your real self, and how that one shift can transform your relationships, your business, and your entire life. This conversation matters because most people think relationships are just a “nice to have.” Barb makes it clear they are everything. Your health, your happiness, your success, all of it is tied to the quality of your connections. A few key takeaways really stood out. First, the most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself. If you are not honest with who you are, if you are constantly hiding behind a version of yourself you think people will accept, then your connections will always feel surface level. Real connection starts with self-acceptance. Second, relationships are either growing or fading. There is no middle ground. Barb calls this drift, and it is the silent killer of connection. It is not conflict that breaks most relationships. It is time, distance, and lack of intentional communication. Third, you need a system. This is where most people drop the ball. We all say relationships matter, but very few people actually build habits around nurturing them. Barb shares a simple but powerful approach, stay in touch consistently with the people who matter most. Even small check ins can keep relationships strong and thriving. Fourth, authenticity is your greatest advantage. In a world full of filters, bots, and fake personas, people can feel what is real. When you lead with honesty and vulnerability, you give others permission to do the same. That is where trust is built. And finally, connection requires intention. Whether it is sending a thoughtful message, remembering a detail about someone’s life, or simply reaching out when they cross your mind, these small actions compound into deep, meaningful relationships over time. This episode is a reminder that success is not just about what you achieve, it is about who you do life with along the way. If you have been feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or just craving deeper relationships, this conversation will hit home. • THE PROP METHOD: How to IDENTIFY & SOLVE the Right Problems & Scale Faster Than EVER with Founder of Bridge to Freedom Coaching and Bestselling Author, Bridget Hom
    Mar 24 2026
Ever feel like you’re busy all day but still not getting the things done that actually move your life forward? You’re checking boxes, replying to emails, juggling a million tabs in your brain… but at the end of the day, it feels like you just spun your wheels. If that sounds familiar, this episode is going to hit home. In this conversation, I sit down with Bridget Hom, founder of Bridge to Freedom Coaching and co-owner of The Axiom Group. Bridget is a best-selling author, speaker, and business strategist who helps entrepreneurs and organizations solve problems faster and create real, lasting results. She’s also the creator of the PROP Method, a powerful framework designed to turn problems and opportunities into clear, actionable solutions. This episode dives deep into mindset, productivity, and what it really takes to create your dream reality. Bridget shares how most people are stuck not because of time or money, but because of priorities. And once you shift that lens, everything changes. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, distracted, or unsure what to focus on next, this conversation gives you a practical and refreshing way forward. What makes this episode matter is simple. It helps you cut through the noise. It shows you how to think better so you can act better. And ultimately, it reminds you that success is not random. It can actually become inevitable when you align your mindset, your actions, and your priorities. A few key takeaways really stand out. First, you don’t have a time or money problem. You have a priorities problem. That shift alone creates freedom. When you stop blaming time or resources, you start taking ownership. And that’s where real progress begins. Second, focus on the one thought. Bridget emphasizes that multitasking is a myth. The more you try to juggle, the slower and less effective you become. Train your brain to focus on one thing at a time, and delegate the rest. That’s how you create momentum. Third, success comes from solving the right problems. Not all tasks are equal. Not all opportunities are worth pursuing. Bridget’s success criteria help filter what actually matters. Does it align with your roles and goals? Does it use your strengths? Does it create real value? If not, it’s a no. Fourth, your mindset drives everything, especially your money. Your beliefs about money shape how you earn it, keep it, and grow it. If you don’t address those subconscious patterns, they will quietly limit your success. But once you become aware of them, you can rewrite the script. And finally, take care of your four selves. Emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual. Burnout doesn’t come from working too much. It comes from neglecting yourself. Even small daily actions in each area can completely change how you show up in your life and business. This episode is packed with real talk, practical tools, and a lot of heart. Bridget brings both strategy and soul to the table, and it shows in every part of the conversation. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start making aligned, intentional progress, this is one you don’t want to miss. • The #1 Sleep Hack for Entrepreneurs: Here’s Why Your BED Is Either Fueling or Draining Your Success with Cary Jack
    Mar 20 2026
Ever wake up groggy even after what should have been a full night of sleep. Your alarm goes off, your brain feels foggy, and the day already feels harder than it should. Most entrepreneurs try to fix that feeling with more coffee, another supplement, or the next productivity hack. But what if the real issue is much simpler. What if the problem starts with where you sleep. In this solo episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I talk about something most high performers overlook, sleep. I share why sleep is one of the most important investments you can make and how your bed could either recharge your energy or slowly drain it. This conversation comes from real life experience. I am navigating business, a toddler, a newborn, and supporting my postpartum wife, and I have had to get serious about optimizing my sleep so I can still show up with energy and focus. This episode matters because sleep impacts everything. Your focus. Your mood. Your hormones. Your creativity. Even your income. Research shows that sleep deprivation can reduce cognitive performance by up to forty percent. Getting less than six hours of sleep can impair your brain in ways similar to being legally drunk. Yet many entrepreneurs still treat sleep like an afterthought. The truth is simple. You do not win the day in the morning. You win it the night before. One of the biggest insights from this episode is something most people never consider. Your mattress could be exposing you to toxins while you sleep. Many conventional mattresses contain polyurethane foams, chemical flame retardants, petroleum-based materials, and volatile organic compounds. These chemicals can off-gas for years and may affect hormone balance, breathing, and sleep quality. Since we spend more than 81,000 hours of our lives sleeping, the environment we sleep in matters more than most people realize. If your bed does not support recovery, your hustle may be costing you more than it gives back. Here are a few key takeaways from this episode. Sleep is the ultimate performance multiplier. Entrepreneurs who consistently get 7 to 9 hours of sleep often experience better decision-making, stronger emotional regulation, and greater creativity. If you want better results in your work and relationships, better rest is a great place to start. Your mattress matters more than you think. Many traditional mattresses release chemicals into the air that your body absorbs through your skin and lungs every night. Choosing organic and non-toxic materials can improve breathability, regulate body temperature, and support deeper restorative sleep. Your bedroom should be a recovery zone. A helpful rule is to avoid emails and doomscrolling in bed. Protecting your sleep environment signals to your brain that it is time to recover, not stay stimulated. Consistency is key to better sleep. Going to bed around the same time every night helps regulate your internal clock and improves the quality of deep sleep and REM cycles. Small sleep habits can create big results. One simple strategy is the three-two-one rule. Stop eating three hours before bed. Stop drinking liquids two hours before bed. Turn off screens one hour before bed. These small shifts can dramatically improve sleep quality. I've recommended these products I've personally used can help support better sleep. One is an organic mattress from My Green Mattress. This brand uses certified organic cotton and natural materials with no fiberglass or chemical flame retardants. It is designed to support comfort while avoiding many of the toxins found in traditional mattresses. If you want to check it out and save a little money, visit thehappyhustle.com/mygreenmattress to save some moolah. Another super helpful product is Ozlo Sleepbuds. These comfortable sleep earbuds allow you to listen to calming audio, meditations, or audiobooks while blocking out distractions. Unlike many headphones, the design minimizes electromagnetic exposure by keeping most of the Bluetooth signal in the charging case. The result is a calmer mind and a smoother transition into deep sleep. You can learn more at https://ozlosleep.com/ and use code HAPPY for the hookup. When you look at the bigger picture, sleep is not just rest. It is recovery. It is hormone balance. It is creativity. It is resilience. If you want to Happy Hustle your dream reality, sleep has to be part of the system. If this episode gave you a new perspective on sleep, go listen to the full conversation. You will hear more practical strategies and insights that can help you improve your nightly routine and show up stronger each day. Listen to the full episode now at caryjack.com/podcastin. • 5 Must-Know AI Hacks for Entrepreneurs with Author, Podcaster, and Internet Multi-Millionaire, Tom Antion
    Mar 17 2026
Ever feel like you are working harder than ever but still falling behind because technology keeps moving faster than you can keep up? A lot of entrepreneurs feel that way right now. Artificial intelligence is everywhere, automation is changing how businesses run, and it can either feel overwhelming or become the greatest advantage you ever leverage. In this episode we explore how to make it your advantage. This conversation on The Happy Hustle Podcast features internet marketing pioneer Tom Antion. Tom is an internet multimillionaire, entrepreneur, speaker, and the host of the long running podcast Screw the Commute. He has spent decades helping entrepreneurs build profitable businesses online while designing a lifestyle that gives them freedom and flexibility. Tom is also the subject of an upcoming documentary called American Entrepreneur, which highlights his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a mentor to thousands of business owners. In this episode, we dive into practical AI hacks, productivity shortcuts, and mindset lessons that can help entrepreneurs save time, increase output, and stay ahead of the curve. Tom brings a unique perspective because he has been building businesses long before AI existed. He has seen multiple waves of technology come and go. What makes this conversation powerful is how simple his approach is. These are not complicated tech tricks. They are practical strategies that anyone can start using today to work smarter and build momentum. One big lesson from this episode is that AI works best when you guide it clearly. Tom shares a powerful writing prompt that helps AI sound more human and less robotic. By instructing the system to vary sentence length, use natural language, and avoid common AI phrases, you can create content that feels authentic. This small adjustment can dramatically improve the quality of blog posts, emails, and marketing copy. Another takeaway is the power of automation. Tom explains how simple macro tools can save enormous amounts of time. If you answer the same questions repeatedly in your business, there is no reason to type those answers again and again. With the right shortcuts you can insert full responses with just a couple of keystrokes. Tom estimates this simple habit has saved him millions of keystrokes over the years and allowed him to run large operations with a small team. We also talk about the importance of verifying information when using AI. Tom explains how AI can sometimes produce something called hallucinations, which means it creates information that sounds correct but is not actually verified. A simple fix is asking the system to verify and cite its sources. This keeps your research accurate and protects your credibility when you share information with your audience. Another powerful insight is using AI to sharpen your thinking. Instead of simply asking for praise or confirmation, Tom suggests prompting AI to critique your work harshly. When you ask for brutally honest feedback, you get insights that can improve your writing, marketing, and messaging. It becomes like having a tough but helpful coach sitting beside you. Finally we talk about mindset and resilience. Tom shares a story about how his father taught him to overcome obstacles from a young age. The lesson was simple. Hard work and persistence can overcome almost anything. When someone tells you that you cannot do something, it usually reflects their own limitations rather than yours. That mindset has helped Tom build multiple businesses and mentor entrepreneurs for decades. For those who want to learn more from Tom, you can explore his podcast and resources at screwthecommute.com. It is packed with hundreds of training episodes designed to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses and create more freedom in their lives. Tom is also featured in the upcoming documentary American Entrepreneur. The film shares his story, his philosophy on business, and the impact he has had on entrepreneurs around the world. It is a powerful reminder that success is not about shortcuts. It is about consistency, creativity, and helping others along the way. If you are looking for ways to work smarter, embrace technology, and build a business that supports the life you want, this conversation is packed with practical wisdom you can apply immediately. Now it is your turn. Tune in and listen to the full episode at caryjack.com/podcastin. What does Happy Hustlin mean to you? Tom says living your life on your terms, because one of the people asked me, what's the best thing about, you know, you never had a job. I don't have to deal with anybody. I don't like, you know, to me, that's happy hustlin'. I could talk to you for hours and hours because I like you and you're good, but if you aren't. Goodbye. That's the beauty of so happy hustlin' to me is living on your terms, being good to people. High integrity, you don't step on anybody to get where you're going and great things can come to you. • The 5 Stages to Happy Hustlin': Align Your Life, Increase Joy & Avoid Burnout with Cary Jack
    Mar 13 2026
Ever feel like you are working hard, checking the boxes, and doing everything you were told would lead to success… but something still feels slightly off? Maybe your career is moving forward, your goals are progressing, and from the outside, everything looks great. Yet internally, you feel out of alignment. Perhaps your health has slipped, your relationships feel rushed, or you are simply hustlin' without happiness. In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I share a powerful framework designed to help people reconnect ambition with well-being. Instead of chasing success that eventually leads to burnout, the episode focuses on a practical system that helps individuals create balance while still pursuing big goals. I discuss the 5 Stages to Happy Hustlin', a simple process that helps people evaluate where they are in life and take intentional steps toward greater alignment. It also highlights tools and resources from The Happy Hustle, a USA Today national bestselling book that teaches readers how to systematically harmonize success across the most important areas of life. What makes this episode especially valuable is how practical and relatable the message is. Rather than presenting complicated strategies, the focus is on simple habits and self-awareness practices that anyone can implement immediately. One of the most important takeaways is the power of conducting an honest life audit. Before making changes, it is essential to clearly assess where you currently stand. Many people avoid this step because it can feel uncomfortable. But true growth begins with awareness. The key is approaching the process with gratitude rather than judgment, recognizing where progress has been made while also acknowledging where improvement is needed. Another major lesson from the episode is the importance of defining what success actually looks like. Many people feel stuck or frustrated simply because their goals are vague. It is difficult to hit a target that has never been clearly defined. When you take time to visualize what a five out of five looks like in the different areas of your life, your decisions become clearer and your actions become more intentional. Once the vision is clear, the next step is reverse engineering the path forward. Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed as a single destination. But when they are broken down into smaller, manageable steps, progress becomes far more achievable. Creating a simple game plan transforms abstract dreams into concrete actions. The episode also emphasizes the importance of taking decisive action. Vision and planning are powerful, but they mean little without execution. Managing time, prioritizing the right activities, and committing to consistent action are what ultimately create momentum and results. Perhaps the most powerful principle discussed is persistent consistency, a concept popularized by Zig Ziglar. Real change rarely happens overnight. It happens through small, repeated actions that compound over time. When you stay committed to the process and learn to enjoy the journey, growth becomes sustainable and fulfilling. Another practical insight shared in the episode is the value of shortening the feedback loop. Instead of evaluating progress only once a month or once a year, conducting regular weekly check-ins allows you to quickly identify where you are out of alignment and make adjustments before problems grow larger. This habit creates continuous improvement rather than periodic correction. Ultimately, the message of this episode is simple but powerful. Success alone does not guarantee fulfillment. True happiness comes from aligning ambition with health, relationships, purpose, and personal well-being. When those areas begin working together rather than competing for your attention, the hustle no longer feels exhausting. It becomes energizing. If you are ready to assess where you stand, redefine what success looks like, and take intentional steps toward a more balanced and meaningful life, this episode offers a clear starting point. • From Alaskan Bush Pilot & Hunting Guide to 9-Figure CEO: How to Make Money & Meaning with Founder of Groove Life, The Quarry Project, Peter Goodwin
    Mar 10 2026
Ever had one of those moments where you step back from everything you have built and ask yourself a simple but uncomfortable question. What is all this actually for? Many entrepreneurs chase success with relentless energy. Bigger revenue. Bigger teams. Bigger assets. Bigger everything. But eventually a deeper question surfaces. If you already have enough, what keeps you going? In this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I sit down with entrepreneur and outdoorsman Peter Goodwin for a raw and honest conversation about success, identity, and building a life that actually means something. Peter shares his journey from a rugged bush guide with no college degree to building a thriving business and raising a family he deeply loves. Along the way, he opens up about insecurity, purpose, and the surprising lessons that come when you realize money alone is not the destination. Peter is an entrepreneur, lodge owner, and passionate outdoorsman who built his career through grit, problem-solving, and relentless determination. Without a traditional path or backup plan, he learned how to navigate uncertainty and create opportunity from nothing. His story is a powerful reminder that resourcefulness, resilience, and purpose often matter far more than credentials. Through his work, Peter has built businesses, supported communities, and most importantly, created a life centered around family and meaningful impact. This episode matters because it speaks directly to the quiet struggles many entrepreneurs face. The self-doubt. The pressure to prove yourself. The temptation to measure success purely by money or status. Peter’s story shows that real success comes when your work supports your life rather than consuming it. Peter shares that some of his darkest moments came while building his lodge. At the time, he had no formal training in business, so he literally Googled his way through creating a business plan and learning how to use PowerPoint. He pitched to anyone who would listen and faced constant rejection. During that time, the inner voice of doubt was loud. Am I enough? Do I have what it takes? Should I have gone to college? Those thoughts can hit especially hard when you are surrounded by people who seem more accomplished on paper. Yet those moments of doubt also forced him to grow into the man he needed to become. Another powerful lesson Peter shares is the idea that having no backup plan can actually be a gift. When you grow up solving problems with limited resources, you become incredibly resourceful. Living in remote environments taught him that when something breaks, you cannot just run somewhere else to fix it. You have to figure it out. That mindset carried over into business and became one of his greatest advantages. Peter also offers a refreshing perspective on identity. He believes that a huge portion of life is simply figuring out who you are not. Many people spend years trying to imitate mentors, parents, or people they see online. But constantly trying to be someone else creates pressure and frustration. Real freedom comes when you stop chasing those comparisons and become comfortable with who you truly are. Perhaps the most striking moment in the conversation comes when Peter talks about reaching financial success. At one point, he had more assets than he ever imagined. Boats, planes, land, tractors, and everything that many people dream of owning. But instead of feeling fulfilled, he realized he could not even keep up with maintaining it all. That moment forced him to ask a deeper question. Why am I working this hard if my family is already provided for? That realization sparked a shift. Success stopped being about accumulation and started being about purpose. Peter realized he needed something bigger than money driving him forward. Something meaningful. Something aligned with the life he wanted to live. This conversation with Peter Goodwin is a powerful reminder that entrepreneurship is not just about building a business. It is about building a life. One where your work supports your values, your purpose, and the people who matter most. If you are navigating your own entrepreneurial journey and searching for clarity around success, identity, and purpose, this episode will resonate deeply. Listen to the full conversation now at caryjack.com/podcastin and keep Happy Hustlin'. What does Happy Hustlin mean to you? Peter says Happy hustlin' is putting my family first, and then also winning at any, whatever game you're in, like winning and that balance it, you know, the family keeps you, that's what keeps me grounded. Cause I can kind of work and just completely bury myself in the game. Love the game, but when you go back home, and you're like, this is what it's all about. So enjoy the game. But don't burn out on the game. The game is just, it's just part of life. It's not life for sure. • The Missing Alignments Most Entrepreneurs Ignore with Cary Jack
    Mar 6 2026

Ever feel like you’re doing all the “right” things like working hard, chasing goals, consuming content… but something still feels off? Like you’re busy, but not necessarily fulfilled? That gap between success and satisfaction is exactly what this episode is all about.

In this solo episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I break down what it really means to grow, not just grind. I dive into key areas of life that often get overlooked by high performers, including personal development, passionate hobbies, impactful work, and nature connection. This episode matters because it is not about doing more. It is about doing what actually moves the needle in my happiness, growth, and overall life alignment.

One of the biggest takeaways is that personal development is not just about consumption, it is about intentional growth. I introduce the 30-30- 30 method, which is a simple but powerful system of reading, listening, and watching educational and inspirational content daily. Mindless consumption leads to overwhelm, while focused learning leads to transformation.

Another powerful reminder is that fun is not optional; it is essential. So many high performers give everything to their work, their clients, and their families, but forget to give to themselves. I emphasize that passionate hobbies are a key driver of joy and energy. When you consistently do things that make you smile, laugh, and grow, you show up better in every other area of your life.

I also get real about impactful work and what it truly means to feel fulfilled in your career. I break it down into passion, purpose, and positive impact. If your work does not excite your soul or contribute something meaningful, it might be time to reassess and pivot. Not recklessly, but courageously.

And then there is nature connection, one of the most underrated but powerful ways to reset your mind and body. It's not meant to live indoors, glued to screens all day. Getting outside, even for a short walk, can regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and reconnect you to something bigger than yourself. Nature is not just a nice to have. It is a necessity.

At the end of the day, this episode is a wake-up call to stop drifting through life on autopilot and start living with intention. It is about checking in with yourself, being honest about where you are, and making small but meaningful shifts that lead to a more aligned and fulfilling life.

If you are ready to level up your personal growth, reconnect with what actually matters, and truly start happy hustlin', go listen to the full episode at caryjack.com/podcastin.
