    A minute before 10 pm on September 30, a deadly magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Bogo City in Cebu.

    The tremor, felt even in nearby provinces, left at least 79 dead, hundreds injured, and thousands internally displaced. Rappler reporters John Sitchon and Bea Cupin were in the field during the first few days of the disaster.
