Under discussion are, “The German Myth of the East: 1800 to the Present,” Vejas Gabriel Liulevicius (OUP, 2011), and “Germany's Wild East: Constructing Poland as Colonial Space,” Kristin Kopp (University of Michigan Press, 2017).
