  • On this week's episode the two Pauls are joined by Sinead Glynn, solicitor with MHP Sellors Solicitors to talk about everything you need about wills.

Sinead chats about who should have a will and why, she and Paul chat about the financial planning of wills - why people refuse to make a will and the potential pitfalls of being without one. Sinead outlines where to start - the homework you need to do before you go to your solicitor to make a will and explains why if you have assets or children you definitely need a will.

They also chat about what happens in various situations; if a will isn't updated, family rifts and cohabiting couples vs married couples. They also discuss cost and tax and inheritance implications and what happens if people contest a will and why that might happen. They talk about who you should or shouldn't choose as an executor, trustee or witness and when you might engage a professional executor and why DIY wills are nearly never a good idea.
