I started this podcast because I am an animal lover, and I was intrigued by the tagline, "...what we owe our pets and each other". As the story unfolded, my thoughts repeatedly returned to that line. For being a fairly short podcast, I found it to be quite thought-provoking and timely. I appreciated how Todd let each participant tell their own side of the story, and let the listener draw their own conclusions. I've only recently discovered NHPR, but so far I've been immensely impressed by the quality of journalism they're producing. I look forward to hearing more stories from them, big or small.
