  • Shyamel Patel & Anthony Schneider - Awakening the Eternal Self
    Apr 8 2025

    Send us a text

289 - In this expansive and soul-stirring episode, Evan is joined by two close friends and fellow seekers—Shyamel Patel and Anthony Schneider—for a profound exploration of the infinite nature of the soul and the journey of spiritual remembrance.

Together, they dive deep into the metaphysical terrain of reincarnation, past lives, and the eternal continuity of consciousness, reflecting on how our soul's journey transcends the boundaries of this current lifetime. Through shared stories and intuitive insights, the trio examines how ancient spiritual traditions and mythologies offer symbolic blueprints for awakening, liberation, and the reclaiming of our divine essence.

The conversation moves fluidly between cultural belief systems and personal inner truth, as they unpack the ways in which society often conditions us to identify with a false, ego-driven self. With a spirit of curiosity and reverence, they ask: What is the true self beyond roles, names, and history? And how can we begin to remember it?

Themes of breaking free from limiting beliefs, confronting inherited dogmas, and returning to a place of spiritual sovereignty are woven throughout. The episode encourages listeners to question deeply held assumptions, embrace the unknown, and remember who they truly are beneath the conditioning.

Whether you're at the beginning of your spiritual path or well into the journey, this episode offers both mystical insight and grounded wisdom for living in alignment with your soul’s calling.

    Topics covered include:
-The infinite, cyclical nature of the soul and the possibility of past lives
-Interpreting mythology and spiritual traditions as symbolic guides for awakening
-Ego vs. true self: how to discern and return to the essence of who you are
-The role of suffering, conditioning, and limitation in the spiritual journey
-Tools and practices to help decondition from cultural programming and live authentically

This heartfelt and illuminating exchange is a reminder that we are not here to become something—we are here to remember what we’ve always been.

  • Shadows of the Moon
    Mar 30 2025

    Send us a text

288 - Shadow work is the path to deep transformation, yet it often leads us into the unknown—where fears, illusions, and hidden truths reside. In this episode, we explore the symbolism of The Moon card in tarot, a powerful archetype representing self-reflection, the subconscious, and the illusions we must move through on the journey to self-discovery.

Engaging in shadow work requires courage. It is a reckoning with the parts of ourselves we often suppress—the wounds, fears, and limiting beliefs that shape our reality. Yet, through this process, we find profound healing and the opportunity for rebirth. In this conversation, we discuss:

🌙 The meaning of The Moon card and its connection to shadow work
🔮 How to navigate the depths of the subconscious and integrate our shadows
🔥 The rites of passage we undergo in the process of personal transformation
💜 The power of leading with love as we face inner and outer challenges

Throughout the episode, we draw inspiration from the works of Carl Jung, Thich Nhat Hanh, and other great thinkers who have illuminated the path of self-inquiry and wholeness.

Shadow work is not about eliminating the darkness—it is about embracing it, understanding its lessons, and allowing it to guide us toward greater authenticity and freedom.

  • The New Social Contract
    Feb 20 2025

    Send us a text

286 - In this solo episode, I explore the profound transformation humanity is undergoing—one that mirrors the seismic shift of the Industrial Revolution but on an even greater scale. As we move deeper into the technological revolution, we find ourselves at a crossroads, where the very fabric of our social contract is being rewritten.

This shift is not merely technological; it is philosophical, existential, and deeply spiritual. The extension of the materialist paradigm has led us to a world that prioritizes efficiency, productivity, and control, often at the expense of human sovereignty and interconnectedness. But is this the natural evolution of civilization, or have we strayed too far from the organic, decentralized ways of human cooperation?

I challenge the prevailing myth of separateness—the idea that we are isolated individuals competing in a zero-sum game. Instead, I propose that our next step is a return to unity, not through top-down control but through voluntaryist principles that respect individual agency while fostering genuine community. Can we create a new way of organizing society that optimizes freedom rather than restricting it?

Some of the key questions explored in this episode include:

Is the technological revolution a natural evolution of human progress, or does it represent a further descent into control and centralization?
-How has the materialist worldview shaped our institutions, and is it time for a more holistic approach to human organization?
-Can we break free from the myth of separateness and rediscover unity without coercion?
-What would a voluntaryist social contract look like in practice, and how could it function without hierarchical authority?
-Is decentralization the antidote to technocratic overreach, or does it require an entirely new philosophy of governance?
-As AI, automation, and digital networks redefine work and economy, how do we ensure human dignity and freedom remain at the center of progress?
-Does embracing sovereignty and voluntary cooperation require a complete spiritual shift in consciousness?

This episode is an invitation to step outside conventional frameworks and imagine a future where society is built on self-governance, mutual respect, and a deeper understanding of our interconnected nature. If we are indeed standing at the precipice of a new paradigm, the question remains: Will we choose to architect a world of freedom, or will we allow our future to be dictated for us?

Tune in and join me in reimagining the social contract of the future.
