The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Monolith’s Wonder Woman; Rooster Teeth Returns | NRC 91

  • Resumen

  • Welcome to Neo-Reality Collective | Pop-Culture News and Reviews Talk, Hosted by Eric Brown! In the Ninety-First Episode, The Fantastic Four: First Steps has had their trailer launch complete with retrofuturistic technology, a Jack Kirby-Inspired Ben Grimm and a comic accurate Galactus all set to arrive and begin Phase Six of The Marvel Cinematic Universe and the beginning of the end of the MULTIVERSE SAGA! While Marvel hopes positions their dominance once again, Warner Bros. Games struggles with the fall of SSKTJL, MultiVersus, and delayed projects such as Monolith’s Wonder Woman and Rocksteady’s next Batman game that are both many years away, with Wonder Woman potentially releasing after a full decade following their announcement at The Game Awards in 2021. RoosterTeeth, the legendary internet company that gave us Red vs. Blue, RWBY, Achievement Hunters, and Strangerhood, was shut down by WarnerBros Discovery in 2024 with Red vs. Blue: Restoration being the full circle cap off to the team and their dedicated work for over twenty years, but, to the surprise of many people, RoosterTeeth’s YouTube Channel suddenly uploaded a video titled “Homecoming” with the unexpected return of Burnie Burns and a subsequent press release that Burnie Burns had bought RoosterTeeth and the remaining assets that weren’t sold off following the company’s initial closure, intending to revive and start from scratch, well, guess it’s time to ask once more: Why are we here?.

Grand Theft Auto VI is back in the public eye as the game, which hasn’t had much update since the trailer release in December of 2023, is set to release in Fall 2025 as Take Two gives everyone a proper update on the development and confidence in the next big game from Rockstar Games. Magic The Gathering, the first trading card game, released back in 1993 and setting the stage for many trading card games that followed and expanded over the last thirty years, announces that it will finally join The Shared Universe initiative with Film and TV products! Gundam, the iconic mech sci-fi military anime franchise that began in 1979, finally joins the live-action space with full length feature film produced by Bandai Namco, and Legendary Pictures! All this and more on Neo-Reality Collective!
