  • Vince Neil & Steven Wilson
    Oct 2 2025

In a candid conversation with Eddie Trunk, Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil shares the harrowing details of his Christmas night stroke that left the entire left side of his body paralyzed. Despite doctors telling him he'd never perform again, Neil describes his grueling six-month recovery journey from wheelchair to walker to cane, and ultimately back to the stage. He reveals the shocking discovery that he had previously experienced four strokes without knowing it, discusses the blood clot that caused his most recent episode, and reflects on his determination to rejoin Motley Crue for their Las Vegas residency. Also on the podcast, renowned musician and producer Steven Wilson joins Eddie to discuss his extensive work remixing classic albums in Dolby Atmos and spatial audio formats. Wilson shares how he became the go-to remixer for legendary bands, his meticulous process of reconstructing original stereo mixes before adding spatial elements, and the challenges of working with aging master tapes. He offers fascinating stories about remixing albums from Pink Floyd, Kiss, Rush, and Tears for Fears, while explaining why some rock music works better in spatial audio than others.

    Sep 25 2025

Sammy Hagar opens up about the tensions during the recording of Van Halen's Balance album, which would become his final record with the band. He shares insights into the creative process, the band's deteriorating relationships, and producer Bruce Fairburn's crucial role in completing the project. Hagar also reveals his extensive charitable work through his restaurant businesses, his thoughts on David Lee Roth's recent comments, and his emotional experience performing at Ozzy Osbourne's tribute concert. With characteristic honesty, he discusses his vocal techniques, his plans for another Las Vegas residency, and reflects on the legacy of Van Halen while sharing stories about his current musical projects. Following that, rock legend Bryan Adams opens up about his new album 'Roll With the Punches' and the challenges of going independent with his own label. He reveals the inspiration behind the album title, his songwriting process, and collaborations with long-time partners. Adams also discusses his upcoming tours in Canada and the US, his unique approach to setlists (you won't believe what he does with fan requests!), and his continued passion for photography. Plus, he shares a surprising story about a hit song originally written for another artist.

  • Dee Snider & Roger Glover
    Sep 18 2025

Dee Snider joined Eddie Trunk to announce Twisted Sister's return for their 50th anniversary in 2026. After turning 70 and reflecting on the band's legacy, Dee decided it was time for one more run despite previously vowing never to reunite. He discusses the lineup changes, including Joe Franco replacing the late A.J. Pero on drums and Russ Pzutto taking over bass duties due to 'irreconcilable differences' with Mark Mendoza. Dee candidly shares his concerns about maintaining the high-energy performance style that defined Twisted Sister while explaining they'll focus on festival appearances rather than grueling tours. He also reveals they'll perform a setlist curated using AI data to identify their most popular songs worldwide, with a visual presentation that strikes a balance between their iconic 80s look and a more age-appropriate approach. Following that, Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover reflects on the band's iconic live album Made in Japan and its new reissue. He shares stories from his time with Rainbow, discusses working with Ritchie Blackmore, and reveals Deep Purple's plans for a new album and future touring. Glover also touches on the band's current lineup and their approach to live performances.

OMG and Simon Kirke!? And sure, why not throw in a select 6 or 7 shows that open with The Big Beat straight into Rock Me Tonight? Slightly faster and no backing vocals, just Billy (apparently I am already seeing this). People would freak out in the best way. Whatever, we move on and it's great seeing Billy move on. Thanks to Eddie and Billy!

Always wonderful hearing from Billy Squier

I loved the interview! I'm a huge fan of Eddie Trunk VH1's That Metal show, This wants my opinion on performance but neither Bret Michaels or Lou Gramm performed. I suppose there was a story told in the interviews, but I wasn't listening to an audio book. It was a prerecorded interview with Bret Michaels then Lou Gramm. Anyway, it was damn good. I listened to it especially to hear Lou, and never was a fan of Bret's, but found out how kind and genuine he is. And I am more humble for it.

First time listening to Eddies show.

Thanks, Eddie, for keeping that train on the tracks! Just read the members of Kiss's own individual bio's. They speak for themselves on how these wackos think. KISS fan forever! 🙂

I'm on team Ace.
