After defeating Duke Cosgrove, our heroes encounter a message from someone named "Hours" which leads them to an entrance to another dimension. They meet the Firbolg shopkeeper Kieran, who informs them that they have entered the infinite staircase and that his master has requested to meet them. Along with some eerie fortune telling about their fates and what they must do to survive the journey Kieran's master will put them on.
