Every week as our pastors prepare, there’s always information doesn’t make the final cut for Sunday mornings, but that’s doesn’t mean it’s not valuable or worth discussing! Join us as we pick up the pieces from the "cutting room floor" and take a closer look at the passage from the previous Sunday. Welcome to the Cutting Room.

  • A Strange Land
    Sep 25 2025
God moved Abram to the Promised Land for a reason; he was working out his story of redemption in a land that granted access for the rest of the world to see. The land was meant to point out what the Lord will do to restore and redeem.

  • The Tower in Babel
    Sep 17 2025
Join Pastor Beth and Jeff as they continue the conversation we started last Sunday, September 14th, on Genesis 10 & 11. These chapters present us with a list of Noah’s descendants and the geographical territories they occupied, but how is that connected to the Lord’s actions at the tower in Babel?

  • The Floating Coffin
    Sep 12 2025
Join Pastor Beth and Pastor Alex as they continue the conversation we began on Sunday on the story of Noah & the Ark. Genesis is a story of beginnings (i.e., creation, the flood, etc.). And all these beginnings ultimately point to the most important beginning of all—the story of Christ. We can find our way home; exile is not permanent, and the floating coffin is not our legacy. There is hope in a God who has not lost hope in us.
