After fleeing the woods, our narrator is determined to find out if what attacked him is the same thing that killed Rebecca McGraw. His knowledge of the occult sciences should give him a good lead, but everything takes a turn when a second victim disappears in the middle of the night. With Verhoeven left perplexed and fearing the worst for the abducted, our protagonist may be the only person willing to uncover and understand the evil that has invaded their town.
