The Corcoran Lab Podcast separates facts from fiction in education. The podcast is hosted by Professor Roisin Corcoran, a world leading expert, adviser and consultant in social and emotional learning. Professor Corcoran has an outstanding track record of cutting edge research and numerous accolades for her work around the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based educational programmes and competency-based tools for children and adults. Series 1 of the podcast focuses on the field of social and emotional learning (SEL) and advocates the use of top-quality research to inform evidence-based education policy and practice. The podcast is supported by the University of Nottingham and the Economic and Social Research Council. Although the interviews sometimes focus on complex research, they have been developed with a wider audience in mind and are accessible to those with an interest in how we can improve social and emotional learning and create better and more equal education opportunities for all. The podcast is edited and produced and by former BBC journalist and founder of Research Podcasts, Christine Garrington.
