  • Episode 2: From Awkward to Allies
    Feb 4 2026

In this episode, we’re taking you all the way back to where our co‑parenting journey really began—the uncomfortable moments, the hesitant conversations, and the slow, sometimes messy, always human steps that took us from “umm… hi?” to becoming true teammates for our kids.

We open up about the early days: the awkward energy, the uncertainty. We walk through the turning points, the small but powerful choices, and the moments of honesty and vulnerability that helped us start building trust.

We also read and respond to some of the incredible comments and questions we received this past week. From listeners who are in the thick of high‑conflict situations, to those hoping to rebuild trust, to people just dipping their toes into blended‑family life, you showed up with so much heart, and we wanted to hold space for that.

And finally, we talk about what “extending the olive branch” really looks like in real life. Not a big dramatic gesture. Not instant forgiveness. Not pretending things didn’t happen. But simple, steady steps: choosing kindness, creating boundaries, giving each other grace, and recognizing that peaceful co‑parenting isn’t just possible, it becomes powerful when everyone involved is committed to love, stability, and being a safe place for the kids at the center of it all.

If you’ve ever wondered how to go from strained to supportive, or how to start slowly when you’re ready for change, this episode is your roadmap… and your reminder that it’s okay to take it one honest conversation at a time.

  • Episode 1 - Sleepovers: The Co-parenting Battle No One Talks About
    Jan 28 2026

Episode 1 - Sleepovers: The Co-parenting Battle No One Talks About

Welcome to the very first episode of Co-parenting Chronicles! Thank you so much for tuning in. We chose sleepovers as our kickoff topic because of a recent situation between our two homes that had us thinking about co‑parenting and sleepovers. Navigating sleepovers can already be tricky, but add co‑parenting into the mix, and the rules and expectations can get complicated fast.

In this episode, we dive into the big question: Should kids be allowed to have sleepovers at other people’s homes? And what happens when co‑parents don’t agree on the boundaries, comfort levels, or house rules? We’re breaking down, the challenges that pop up when rules don’t match, and how to keep things consistent, safe, and drama‑free for the kids.

Since this is our first time recording and editing, it's not perfect, but we’re learning, growing, and getting better each week. Thanks for bearing with us through the early stages! We are excited to grow with you!

We want to hear your stories.

Be sure to come back next week for Episode 2: From Awkward to Allies — where we dive into how our relationship evolved and what it took to get there. We’re also bringing in other real life experiences, awkward moments, challenges, and breakthroughs you’ve shared with us, to better understand the real dynamics happening inside blended families. Your stories help us see the bigger picture and open the door for conversations so many families wish they could have. Thank you for listening!
