  • Celtic Exchange Weekly: This Is The Deal Under Martin O'Neill | It's Time To Buckle Up
    Apr 13 2026
The win over St Mirren at the weekend won't be featuring in any "best of" compilations in years to come, and nor should we care if it does, as Celtic again picked up another vital three points. And while many of us - ourselves included - have been waiting for this side to "turn the corner" and to really put a team to the sword, maybe that's just not going to happen this season. And maybe that's ok. So long as there's silverware at the end of it in the shape of the Scottish Premiership Trophy. And it's now abundantly clear, and maybe has been for a while, that Martin O'Neill is simply doing what he has to do in order to get us over the line. This is the deal. And if we have to grind it out between now and the end of next month, then so be it. It's the way it is. And none of us will care if it leads us to this season's ultimate goal. 🎙️ Join a full house of Tino, Mif, Paddy & James as the cover the above and more in this latest Celtic Exchange Weekly. 00:00 Welcome To Celtic Exchange Weekly Podcast – Opening Comments 06:29 Martin O’Neill & His Celtic Legacy 09:51 This Celtic Squad IS Good Enough To Win The Title 21:20 Questions From Our Patreon Members 30:25 What Is Celtic’s Style Of Play Right Now? 37:28 What’s Your “Celtic Mount Rushmore” 40:16 Should James Forrest Be Getting More Minutes For Celtic 44:39 Should Celtic Experiment In The Scottish Cup Semi Final? 52:18 Green Brigade Back At Celtic Park 54:44 Willie Haughey’s Season Ticket Alliance 56:48 Final Comments From The Celtic Exchange Team ==================== 🍀 Want more from Celtic Exchange each and every week? • 🍀 Celtic Exchange Weekly: Is It Now Advantage Celtic As We Await Post Split Fixtures?
    Apr 6 2026
Celtic head in to the final six fixtures of the league season knowing that four of them will be at Celtic Park and just two on the road as they hunt down what would be a fifth consecutive Scottish Premiership title. It's a massive boost to Martin O'Neill's men (and even more so if we see the Green Brigade return in time!) and one that could give them a crucial advantage over their title rivals. With the Top Six now settled, the post split fixtures could be released as early as this week and as fans we can now wait with optimism on what should (should!) be a favourable set of fixtures for Celtic. Don't confuse favourable with easy though, as the patterns of this season tell us just how difficult this run in might be. The morale boosting win at Dens Park however has put us firmly back on track and we can now look forward to this week's clash with St Mirren with renewed belief. 🎙️ Join Tino, James, Brydo and Conor as they cover all of the above and more on the latest Celtic Exchange Weekly. ==================== 🍀 Want more from Celtic Exchange each and every week? • TCE Weekly: Access Denied! Fresh Fan Media Snub As Focus Now Switches To Must Win Dundee Clash
    Mar 30 2026
While access remains restricted for Celtic Fan Media at this time, it seems it is possible to get inside the tent if you’re Fan Media of another club, as witnessed by the announcement of an Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain exclusive by The Anfield Wrap this week. It’s been yet another puzzling decision by the cub in a season that’s been full of them. In other news the Jim Craig statue project has formally been launched and we were in attendance last week alongside the man himself and a committed group of individuals who outlined their plans to immortalise the Lisbon Lions in his hometown of Govan. Elsewhere as the players begin to return from international duty it’s all eyes on this weekend’s must win clash against Dundee with Martin O’Neill insisting that Sunday’s fixture is the only show in town for him and his players right now. And finally, a happy 27th birthday to Jota, and oh how we could have done with his talents this season. As he continues to recover from his ACL injury we wish the Portuguese star well and reflect on what he’ll hopefully bring on his long-awaited return. 🎙️ Join a full house of Tino, Mif, James & Paddy as the cover all of the above and more in this latest episode of the Celtic Exchange Weekly. ==================== 🍀 Want more from Celtic Exchange throughout the week? • The Big Easy Goes Green: New Orleans CSC Set To Host The Celtic Convention 2026
    Mar 25 2026
The story of New Orleans is one of resilience, pride, and true community spirit - perhaps more than any CSC we’ve had the privilege of speaking with. In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, the New Orleans CSC faced an enormous challenge. Their home at Finn McCool’s was left in ruins, and rebuilding meant starting almost from scratch. But where others might have faltered, this community came together. Driven by passion and powered by volunteers, they rebuilt, not just a venue, but a hub of identity and belonging. Against the odds, Finn McCool’s reopened its doors in time for St Patrick’s Day 2009, just six months later - a remarkable achievement and a testament to their spirit. We were delighted to sit down with two key figures, Lee Kelly and Sean Kennedy, to hear what the club truly means to them - and to share in their excitement as New Orleans prepares to host this year’s Celtic Convention. Running from 8th–14th June, the Convention promises an unforgettable week packed with special Celtic events for supporters from across the globe. To be part of it, secure your tickets and discounted hotel rates at: https://neworleansceltic.com And if you’re in town, be sure to visit Finn McCool’s Irish Pub—located in Mid-City at 3701 Banks Street, New Orleans. • Celtic Exchange Weekly: Now Or Never For Celtic As O'Neill Faces Toughest Test Since Return
    Mar 23 2026
The defeat to Dundee United feels like a crushing blow to Celtic’s title hope - but could the enforced two-week international break offer Martin O’Neill’s side a chance to regroup and reignite the race? For fans, it means sitting with the frustration a little longer - never easy. Still, the pause might provide O’Neill with the opportunity to reset ahead of a seven-game stretch that now leaves virtually no room for error. There is at least some cause for optimism. The potential return of Alastair Johnston, Arne Engels and Julian Araujo after the break would be a huge boost to the squad, while a refreshed Callum McGregor would be a timely bonus as the season reaches the business end. Off the pitch, an intriguing question surrounds season ticket renewals, which are now just weeks away. Given how this campaign has unfolded, the club will have genuine concerns about uptake. And with so much of the damage self-inflicted, fans are right to question whether they’re being asked to invest in more of the same heading into 2026/27 and beyond. 🎙️ Join Tino, James, Paddy & Mif for an in-depth discussion on all this and more in the latest episode of Celtic Exchange Weekly. =========== 🍀 Want more from Celtic Exchange throughout the week? • Celtic Exchange Weekly: Yang's The Man As Celtic Lay Down Title Gauntlet With Eight Games To Go
    Mar 16 2026
Celtic roared to within two points of leaders Hearts at the weekend with two goal hero Yang stealing the headlines on what was a huge win against a solid Motherwell. Much of the talk has been about Jens Berthel Askou as a future Celtic manager, but Martin O'Neill once again showed that he's still the man for now as his side picked up yet another win under his stewardship. Celtic Park also experienced an improved atmosphere on the day, though the hope remains that the Green Brigade and the club can iron out their differences for the remaining home games of the season. We also cover potential players of the year, the upcoming trip to Tannadice, as well as the Scottish based players Celtic should be considering for next season. 🎙️ Join Tino, Mif, Brydo & Conor for this latest episode of The Celtic Exchange Weekly =============== 🍀 Get more Celtic Exchange each and every week on our Patreon Channel. • Celtic Exchange Weekly: Ibrox Uncovered – Beyond The Drama As Celtic Pull Off Unlikely Win
    Mar 9 2026
It was an eventful day both on and off the field at Ibrox at the weekend and from a Celtic Exchange point of view both Mif and Paddy were there on the day to take it all in. The elation of Tomas Cvancara’s winning penalty kick was soon taken over by the concerning post-match incidents that followed and the boys shared their experience of what played out before, during, and after the game. Elsewhere we look ahead to the next challenge which is Motherwell at Celtic Park on Saturday and to some decisions that Martin O’Neill now faces after a solid defensive display at Ibrox. Finally, with the Green Brigade due to meet with the club at the start of the week we speculate on how that may all play out with just five home games remaining this season. 🎙️ Join Tino, James, Mif & Paddy as they cover all of the above and more on the latest Celtic Exchange Weekly ====================== 🗓️ A Night With Celtic Legends - The Keadeen Hotel, Kildare, Fri 22nd May 2026: https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/a-night-with-celtic-legends-tickets-1981604932697 🍀 Check the all new Celtic Exchange Website at: https://thecelticexchange.com Learn more about your ad choices.
