  • #64 | Alan Andrioni | Community and Outreach that form Laborers
    Mar 20 2026

Our guest this week is Alan Andrioni. Alan is currently on staff in Birmingham, England. However, his testimony and first years on staff trace back to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where and when both hosts, Kent Bailey and Jon Elam, were on staff. Alan shares how the missional community he experienced drew him to Christ, and how the gospel transformed not only himself, but his family, classmates, and friends. After his tenure in Brazil, Alan and his family moved to labor in England, and he shares particularities of these two contexts, both challenges and opportunities. Europe is awakening once again, and he is excited to share how the church is meeting needs.

    Jan 23 2026

Our guest this week is Sarah L., on staff with Campus Outreach Birmingham, England. Sarah shares her upbringing as a child of Campus Outreach staff, her conversion, and the first twinges of a desire to become a laborer. She shares her reflections on what it means not only to be a follower and disciple of Jesus, but also a laborer in God's harvest field. Sarah's burden is to see multiplication happen all over the world, especially among the multiple worldviews, religions, and nationalities she works with on the U.K. campus.

Sarah's passion and resolve to be a laborer can be heard when she says, "Lord, you've got to take this to the next generation, and they have to be able to multiply this to the next generation, it can't end with me!”

  • SPECIAL EPISODE | Rev. Frank Barker | The Mission [ARCHIVE]
    Jan 7 2026

This week, we are posting a message by Reverand Frank Barker from the 1999 Campus Outreach Christmas Conference, "He Is No Fool”, organized by CO Birmingham, AL.

In the weeks following the 2026 CO NatCon, the missional drive that permeates Campus Outreach ministries on college campuses worldwide serves as a reminder of the impact that Rev. Barker had on the ministry in its founding and expansion. Rev. Barker's simple and authentic explanation of 5 Biblical Motives for our missional response to the gospel is compelling – "That's the greatest thing in the world,” he concludes.

Enjoy this archive delivered to a previous generation and be encouraged to continue laboring today.

  • #60 | Brian Lewis | Being a Laborer is a Missional Identity
    Nov 25 2025

Our guest this week is Brian Lewis, Pastor of Outreach at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN. Brian spent over 30 years on staff with Campus Outreach before transitioning to pastoral ministry at the church where he served as Regional Director for Campus Outreach Memphis. Brian's fervor for evangelism and multiplying discipleship is clearly seen as he shares about his conversion, ministry experience, and current efforts to be a laborer in God's harvest field. Brian's discipleship emphasis on being in Christ and his missional drive stem from being compelled by Christ, his personal Lord and Savior. Nov 6 2025

Our guest this week is Kike Astorga, Regional Director of Campus Outreach Guadalajara, Mexico. Kike is a native of Guadalajara, commonly referred to missiologically as the center of "the circle of silence” in Mexico, where only 1-2% of the population identifies as evangelical Christian. Kike's personal testimony of faith, his drive to tell others about the gospel, and being convinced to labor among his own people in Jalisco, Mexico, are inspiring to hear. Kike also shares about his family and how good the Lord has been to them in the midst of hardship. The team in Guadalajara is experiencing a movement, and God is doing much to exemplify what can happen when a ministry is dedicated to walking faithfully with Christ and developing new believers into laborers.
