As I warn us against toxic positivity, and jam to some Tems,, I invite the vulnerability of our negative experiences, and pivot to realize that Gratitude fills our cup so we can refill others. Enough metaphors, just get to pressing play and you'll see what I mean.

Unlike other episodes, posting twice in one week, I follow my instincts to do research and share wat I found; The situations in Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Palestine are being piled over and desensitized to the point of lack of recognition. There needs to be a safe space amongst these brave spaces that helps explore these topics with truth and tenacity. I hope with the little bit of research I compiled to inspire others to start the conversation. It takes truth to overcome power, and as our world opens up with social media, we owe it to ourselves to seek truth and empower our communities. This is the time to define what it means to be a global citizen.

This episode is inspired by Doja Cat; The experience of giving myself space & grace comes with practice, and this was a grateful day to experience such. Practice with me as I try to understand how to meet expectations, apologize to old friends, and accept and thank the new ones. What are the challenges you face in showing yourself grace?
