Hello, I’m Gail Nobles and you’re listening to The Buzzly Podcast.

The song "Love of Money" by The O'Jays talks about how obsessed people are with money and how far they will go to get it. This is especially relevant today, as we often hear about different types of scams and fraud that trick innocent people out of their money.

In recent years, many scams have come up that take advantage of people's weaknesses, leaving them in tough financial situations. Examples include scams (where people are tricked into giving away personal information), identity theft, and pyramid schemes. These scams can lead to huge losses and also hurt trust between friends and with banks or other businesses.

The rising cost of living makes things even harder. Many Americans are dealing with higher bills and surprise expenses that add to their stress. People often have to handle costs they can't control, like increased utility bills or medical expenses. This financial pressure can make people feel hopeless, leading them to make desperate choices to find stability.

Additionally, society often celebrates greed and wealth, which can make things worse. The media shows luxurious lifestyles that can pressure people to act unethically or illegally to keep up. When money becomes the main goal, it can change what people consider right or wrong, which ties back to the powerful message in The O'Jays' song., Love of Money.

To address these issues, society needs to focus on teaching people about money and provide support for those affected by financial crimes. This means educating people about scams, promoting good financial habits, and encouraging open discussions about money and its effects on our lives. By tackling these problems together, we can help rebuild trust and security in our financial systems.

I’m Gail Nobles. Thank you for listening.

    Story by: Gail Nobles

Do you remember Mass Production Firecracker. It's a 1979 song by the band and Mass Production is a fun disco musical group best known for that Firecracker hit number four on the R&B chart in the late summer of 1979.

Firecracker is a dynamite explosion of sound that's bursting with energy. The track fuses soul, fun, and a dash of the party spirit that was sweeping the nation.

From the very first Firecracker ignites a spark that pulls you right into its groove with a catchy baseline that's as smooth as silk. You'll find your feet tapping and your body swaying before you even know it. The brass section blazes through with those killer horns, And let's not forget the dazzling vocal harmonies that light up the track calling everyone to the dance floor.

The song Firecracker is the perfect anthem for those Summer nights filled with barbecues, dancing under the stars, and enjoying life to the fullest. Whether you're at a party or cruising with the top down, this tune is a surefire way to elevate the mood and spread good vibes.
Somebody's outside shooting firecrackers right now in the neighborhood.

This is Gail Nobles signing off with a reminder: Pull up those great tunes. Make those playlist and keep music grooving. Until next time, keep music in your heart and mind.

    Intro by: Gail Nobles

Ernest Ernie & the Sincerities has a single entitled Do Something.

    I know
I know, my brother, that your heart is dying
    And I know
I know, my sister, that you're tired of trying
    And we used to say
    That we shall overcome
But with all the dues that they refuse to pay
    We've grown cold and numb...

That’s just part of the first verse.

And the Chorus it says: And I know, I know, I know
    This world is so divided
And you know, you know, you know
But what are you gonna do about it?

You gotta do something, say something.

Ernest Ernie has a nice voice and a nice song. Ernest Ernie and the Sincerities is vintage pop/soul big band from Brooklyn, New York. They have a nice sound. It's a sound like the old school and his lyrics really makes sense and matter in a world like today. So check out Ernest Ernie and the Sincerites. Check out their song Do Something.
