The Brothers Zahl

De: Mockingbird
  • Resumen

  • Welcome to The Brothers Zahl podcast, a collaboration between John, David and Simeon Zahl, three siblings engaged in "the God business"--one as a writer, one as a professor, one as a priest. Each episode is devoted to a single topic of spiritual or religious interest in the hopes of sketching an overarching picture of grace and everyday life. The music is pretty good, too. A great chance here grown-up brothers apply childhood lessons

The topics and conversations of these podcasts are so essential to what so many of us spend time talking about. But what makes this particular podcast stand out is that we have three men here who have learned, lived, deconstructed, reconstructed, and expressed these topics together throughout their life.

These are the kinds of conversations most of us actually have with our adult siblings after we get past the “how’s the family doing” introductory stuff. It’s both enjoyable and educational to see how they subtly change each other and encourage each other at the same time.

The Zahl family has had an indelible impact on the discussion of grace, law, and culture within the American church community. And hearing these three brothers talk about it at this midpoint in their own careers is fascinating. I highly recommend it if you’ve ever enjoyed anything one of these guys (or their friends) has written.
