In this episode of The Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz kick things off by talking real life — from engagements and new babies to the pressures of parenthood and maintaining friendships as life gets bigger. From there, the conversation jumps all over the place in true Brilliant Idiots fashion, blending humor, honesty, and sharp cultural commentary. The guys dive into the state of society, the impact of social media on public opinion, and what role comedians actually play in today’s political and media landscape. They break down why “bad guys” are sometimes necessary in storytelling, why challenging the status quo matters, and how surrounding yourself with yes-men can be dangerous — especially in celebrity culture. Along the way, they touch on major figures like Jay-Z and discuss how influence and authenticity shape public perception. Things stay light with plenty of jokes, wild personal stories, and hilarious takes on the absurdity of modern life. The episode also explores the evolution of podcasts and media, the importance of diverse voices, and why comedy is still one of the best tools for talking about serious issues. ************************************ Sponsor Brilliant Idiots: https://public.liveread.io/media-kit/brilliant-idiots Jess Hilarious - Til Death Do We Parent - Pre Order 2Chainz - The Voice in my head is God - Pre Order The Black Family Who Built America - Cheryl McKissack Daniel -Order Link Uncommon Favor - Dawn Staley - Order Link Get Honest or Die Lying Why Small Talk Sucks- By Charlamagne Tha God - Order Link Check out Andrew Schulz - www.theandrewschulz.com Check out all the podcast on Charlamagne's "Black Effect Network" - https://blackeffect.com Learn more about your ad choices. This week on Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz break down everything from the Street Fighter movie trailer and why theaters are officially “back,” to the absolute chaos surrounding Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua and why everybody’s tuning in just to see what happens. Things get unhinged as they react to Ray J’s viral Diddy comments, debate celebrity scandals, workplace relationships, and whether people at the top should ever date coworkers. The conversation gets deep (and hilarious) as they talk marriage, cheating, accountability, and power dynamics, plus a brutally honest breakdown of why men ruin good situations. The crew also dives into sports, unpacking LeBron James’ viral ref moment, the future face of the NBA, Steph Curry vs LeBron debates, and why American stars are still treated differently than international players. Plus, they roast Timothée Chalamet’s Kendrick Lamar comments, argue about rap beef paranoia, and question why Hollywood loves pretending it’s “in the streets.” ************************************ Sponsor Brilliant Idiots: https://public.liveread.io/media-kit/brilliant-idiots Jess Hilarious - Til Death Do We Parent - Pre Order 2Chainz - The Voice in my head is God - Pre Order The Black Family Who Built America - Cheryl McKissack Daniel -Order Link Uncommon Favor - Dawn Staley - Order Link Get Honest or Die Lying Why Small Talk Sucks- By Charlamagne Tha God - Order Link Check out Andrew Schulz - www.theandrewschulz.com Check out all the podcast on Charlamagne's "Black Effect Network" - https://blackeffect.com Learn more about your ad choices. This is one of the only podcasts that i keep coming back and listen to over and over again. Having a radio host and a comedian together has an affect that not only keeps you laughing, but brings a perspective that I otherwise would not have seen. From political topics, to stories from their past, Andrew, Charlamagne, and Wax are a force within the podcast community.

Will keep you coming back for more!
