The Bride of Boonwaat

This tale takes us back in time to the swinging sixties, when Burmese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Sao Boonwaat, first moves into the then ‘Carlton Lodge’ with his beautiful young wife Shirley. On October 15th, 1967, residents heard gunshots from the Boonwaat's residence.
